The pictures give a good idea of our Thanksgiving this year. Leslie brought ALL the fixin's for a wonderful Thanksgiving feast although, according to her, it was "nothing fancy". Ryan's and my families' ideas of a fancy meal are very different. :)
We had a toasty fire in the morning to warm up the joint, followed by Ryan, Bill and Brooklynn playing golf outside while Leslie cooked and I played with Mickey. Then, a delicious meal and the obligatory nap.
I thought all day about how much I have to be thankful for. It amazes me every day, the dimension that children and parenthood have added to my life. Before they came, I only thought my life was full, just as I thought I understood the depth of my parents' love for me.
