Diners, Drive-ins and Dives - and a Winery

On one of our first days at the ranch we decided to take a field trip. Leslie (a big fan of the Food Network) had looked up a website to see if there were any restaurants that had debuted on the popular Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. She found one relatively close to where we were staying and, as it turned out, it was where "Guy" did the pilot episode. He apparently has a home in the next town over and frequents the restaurant. (To the workers, it was NO big deal that he had done the show there. When we asked what he had ordered, all excited to eat what he ate, they didn't know. Didn't know! They were like, he probably ate the wings. He really likes those, and the garlic fries. Both were wonderful.) Anyway, the restaurant held no more than four tables and a pool table, but it had a full size bar, the staple of every greasy dive.
