zooooooooom!

I had a wonderful wonderful 30th birthday weekend! Friends came over for a mini celebration on Saturday, and on Sunday (after getting to meet Bylow's beautiful new baby girl) we had a delicious family dinner at Mom and Dad's.
Everyone pitched in together and bought me an amazing gift. I think I'm still in a bit of shock. I certainly don't deserve something so great. It was a new zoom lens for my Rebel! Hooray!!!! I have been wanting one forever and ever.
After dinner I played a bit. The first two pictures I've included were taken from about ten feet, and the last from about twenty or more. So cool!
