Anyway - things are just as crazy as you would expect a house with two adults (one being Ryan ;), a two-year old, a newborn, a dog, a fish, and a catepillar to be. That's the latest, by the way.

Last week Ryan brought Brooklynn out on a daddy date and came home with a beta that Brooklynn very appropriately named "Fishy". He's pink with a pink "house" and pink rocks. According to Brooklynn, it's his favorite color. Then, today, we found a tiny bright green inchworm and put him in a special insect home with a built-in magnifying glass top for better viewing. Brooklynn arranged it with rocks and leaves from our home landscape. Then we placed just a couple dots of water on one of the leaves and watched as Hidey (she likes to "hide") inched her way over and drank it! It was actually pretty cool. Brooklynn updates me on Hidey's silly doings about bi-minutely.
And, speaking of the additions to our home - the most important little new one, Mickey, is doing superbly. He's very relaxed, only crying when he needs something, and usually I take care of those things before the crying starts. Needless to say, it's a very different experience this time around...
And, Brooklynn's busy. There's much to be said - but she's two and already this update is too long for her to handle. Guess it'll come another day!
